Low Voltage Cable Technician with paid training

Vitek Solutions Inc. is one of the largest subcontractors of Charter Spectrum St. Louis. We are looking to hire full-time Low Voltage Cable Installation Technicians. We offer PAID on-the-job training. If you are a cable veteran with confirmed experience or have no experience and are eager to learn the business, then contact us.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Under limited supervision, install and service customers products in their homes or small businesses.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
• Knows, understands, and follows company policy.

Requirements for Position:

Vitek Solutions Inc. is one of the largest subcontractors of Charter Spectrum St. Louis. We are looking to hire FULL TIME LINEMAN/AERIAL COAX SPLICER. At the minimum, this position requires a good working knowledge of telecommunications construction, familiarity with aerial lift devices, utility lines and poles, and the functionality of each. Candidates possess the ability to use cable placement equipment and tools and the ability to identify and troubleshoot problems.

Essential Functions: 

• ability to work safely, with or without supervision
• ability to work standing at shoulder height and overhead for extended periods
• ability to work from a ladder or bucket truck
• ability to follow instructions and communicate verbally and in writing
• ability to understand functioning and operate equipment including but not limited to a bucket truck, lasher, and hand tools
• ability to splice, test, repair cables & wires in outdoor settings.

Requirements for position:

• Experience is required. Pay is based on experience.
• Proficient in the use of hand tools and equipment. (Wrenches, Drills, Ladders, Lanyards, Saws, etc.)
• Proficient in the use of telecom construction equipment. (bucket trucks, Lashers, Meters, Trenchers, etc).
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical, background, and motor vehicle record check.
• Must be willing to work as a team to complete each task.
• Must provide your own transportation to job site or office.
• Must have flexible availability.
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
• Must have a Class E Drivers License.

Vitek Solutions Inc. is one of the largest subcontractors of Charter Spectrum St. Louis. We are looking to fill our General Labor position with our construction crew. Construction work is working on the infrastructure for all Spectrum services cable, internet, and phone. We offer paid on the job training. 

Job duties include:

• Hand Digging new Utilities
• Breaking and repairing concrete and asphalt
• Tree Trimming and root removal
• Learning Vermeer drill (4-person crew needed to operate)
• Locating utility lines with locater
• Pole transfers, removing all utilities from old pole and setting them up on the new pole, which requires lashing and delashing.
• SMOP’s happen between 1 am to 4 am. That is a service change over for an existing customer. We must do the change over when it will not affect business. We take their services completely down to upgrade the infrastructure then bring the services back up.
• You will be working outside in all weather conditions.

Requirements for position:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be able to pass a background check, motor vehicle check, drug test, and a physical.
• Able to work as a team member and complete work in a timely manner and with the possibility of little direct supervision.
